2006 on
Mitchell Family Farm

2006 was the first year for the Mitchell Family Farm Garden CSA. Despite a very dry summer, Josh was able to fill all the CSA baskets with fresh produce for 20 weeks.

 Raising turkeys was another fun, new experience. Turkeys are really funny critters. They were great grasshopper control in the garden too!

Another highlight of our year was our acquisition of four livestock guardian dogs. We expect Russa, Cregga, Bella and Sparky to be excellent protectors of our goat and sheep herds.
